SELECTIVE PALLET RACKING
Selective pallet racking is the most common pallet racking system in use today. Selective pallet racking systems typically come in one of two configurations: a roll formed, or clip-in configuration, and a structural bolt-together configuration. Roll formed selective rack is most commonly manufactured in a "teardrop" style (so named as the holes on the column of the upright are shaped like a teardrop). Pallets then rest on the horizontal load beams that are held in place by mounting clips. Because the clips on teardrop configurations can be quickly moved, the shelves can be easily adjusted to different heights to accommodate various load sizes. This is convenient for a warehouse that needs to store a wide variety of product sizes.
DRIVE-IN RACKING
This system is base on the storage by accumulation principle, which enables the highest use of available space in terms of both area and height. Drive-in racking is designed for the storage of homogenous products. It accommodates a large number of pallets for each SKU. Advantages Maximum profitability of the available space (up to 85%). DRIVE THROUGH RACKING
Drive-Thru Pallet Rack Systems load from one side and unload from the other to create First-In-First-Out inventory retrieval (FIFO); forklifts can enter from either aisle. The rigidity of both pallet racking systems results from overhead bracing or being tied to the overhead structure. Drive-In rack systems provide low cost bulk storage along with guaranteed stock rotation. A Drive-In Rack System is an excellent option for freezers.
